A gathering of great quality …
Letter from Peter Peasgood, September 18th 2011:
The festival was again a gathering of Papier Theater companies of great quality.
The most surprising to us was the performance of »The Brigand« by Carsten Niemann. This old English Redington edition with its archaic language and exquisite scenery was performed completely unshortened by this versatile young man. I do not think that Sylvia and myself will see such rare play ever again.
The Muthesius Kunsthochschule Kiel gave again an astonishing performance with »Desierto Florido«.
May I say that all sixteen companies played to their own unique style so presenting the audiences a festival to suit all tastes.
